Museum Circle - A Selection form 150 Years of Hungarian painting

At the joint exhibition of the Hungarian National Museum and the Kovács Gábor Art Foundation, 142 paintings – borrowed from 14 public and two ecclesiastical collections, as well as from diverse private collectors – were to offer a comprehensive overview of the generic and stylistic richness of Hungarian painting, from the beginnings to the European School of 1945-1948. The catalogue that accompanied the exhibition includes reproductions of all works exhibited, as well as an index of reproductions.
